Established in 2005, Brick by Brick is a privately owned and run Pre-School with an ‘Outstanding Provider’ Ofsted rating.
Situated in Beckenham, Kent we provide sessional childcare under the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum for children aged between 2-5 years.
Our premises are bright, modern and air-conditioned. We have secure out-door play and access to playing fields for our annual sports day and other activities.
We are open for 5 mornings and 3 afternoons (Monday to Wednesday) per week for 38 weeks per year. Morning sessions are from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm. Afternoon sessions are from
1.00 pm to 4.15 pm.
Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. Support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Observe, assess, and record children's progress. Plan and deliver engaging activities based on children's interests and developmental needs. Promote children's wellbeing, independence, and confidence. Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and the pre-school’s policies at all times. Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant). Good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
Experience working in a preschool or nursery setting. Paediatric First Aid qualification. Experience supporting children with SEND.
