We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our newly established independent nursery setting in the beautiful village of Sonning Common. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a nurturing environment for young children. The successful candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a genuine passion for working with children. The candidates must be level 3 qualified. Possibility for full or part time working options.

Duties

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's development across all areas.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Foster a warm, inclusive environment that promotes learning, curiosity, and social interaction.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child's individual needs.
• Lead and supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and mentorship where necessary.
• Organise daily routines including meal times, play sessions, and rest periods in line with nursery policies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of nursery practices through feedback and professional development.
