Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join a friendly and professional dental team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the dentist during clinical procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for dentistry and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures
- Ensuring patient comfort and providing reassurance throughout treatment
- Preparing and maintaining the surgery and equipment
- Providing effective chairside support
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality
- Sterilising instruments in line with infection control guidelines
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Managing stock control of dental materials and supplies
Requirements & Qualifications
- Qualified Dental Nurse
- Valid GDC registration required
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Confident IT skills for managing electronic patient records
- Good command of the English language
- Previous dental nursing experience (preferred)
