We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be given opportunities to study Montessori ethos and pedagogy which is sponsored by the company.

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Great Dunmow CM6 1PT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
- Supervising children during playtime, meals, and rest periods to ensure their safety and well-being
- Supporting children's individual needs through personalised care and attention
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
- Assisting in the assessment of children's progress and maintaining accurate records
- Contributing to the organisation of nursery routines and activities
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and nursery policies
- Driving children to organised outings or activities when required
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting
- Strong management and leadership abilities to guide both children and team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage positively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of childcare practices, early childhood education principles, and child development stages
- Ability to organise activities that are engaging, educational, and fun
- Compassionate nature with a genuine passion for childcare
- Good organisational skills to manage daily routines efficiently
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending external activities
