Nursery Practitioner

 We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Early Years Educator Level 3 to join our vibrant Outstanding childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children within a nurturing environment. A valid Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education is essential, along with relevant nursery experience.

 Skills

  • Proven leadership skills within a childcare setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and enthusiasm.
  • Experience in nursery settings or similar environments is highly desirable.
  • Organisational skills to plan activities and manage daily routines efficiently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative independently.

Room Leader

The Kiderhouse Nursery in Lytham St. Annes are looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistant to join our friendly team in the position of Room Leader. The Kinderhouse is an owner managed nursery located in the heart of Lytham St. Annes, providing a friendly, homely environment for children from 3 months to pre-school age. Our goal is to ensure that every child has fun, becomes confident and independent, develops their social skills and a love of learning.

Requirements;

    Level 3 Previous experience required Full time £13.50 - £14.75ph 

Duties and responsibilities

-To contribute to a programme of activities that meet the individual needs and interests of children in your area in conjunction with other team members.

-To keep records of your key children’s development and learning journeys and share this with parents, carers and other key adults in the child’s life.

-Undertake an end of nursery review of each key child to send / take to school to allow new provision to have a clear understanding of each child’s key strengths and areas for development.

-Engage in good team working.

-Participate in staff training programmes.

-Liaise with and support parents and other family members.

-To attend out of working hours activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, parents evening, fundraising events etc.

-To be flexible with the working practices of the nursery. Be prepared to help where needed, including to undertake certain domestic jobs within the nursery, e.g. preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment etc.

-Work alongside the Manager and staff team to ensure that the nursery’s philosophy is fulfilled.
