Ready Steady Go Childcare
Job.Employer

Ready Steady Go Childcare was established in 2001. It is owned and directed by two sisters who are both passionate mothers and have enjoyed seeing their own children and family/friends come to our Nursery.over the years. We were delighted with our Ofsted inspection in January 2019 giving us a Good grading in all areas. (Please click the link for our full Ofsted Inspection Report). We are proud to have a dedicated, qualified, experienced and friendly team of staff, many of whom have been with us long enough to see our little ones grow into adulthood. We are committed to our excellent relationships with parents, carers, Ofsted and other valuable agencies in order that we may continue to deliver a childcare setting that provides all our children with the highest quality of care and unlimited opportunities so that they can learn develop and grow in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.

Our nursery is set in a residential area within a local village community giving the children excellent opportunities to explore their surroundings as part of their nursery routine. Our home from home setting has adequate space for 69 children each session from birth to 5 years of age. The nursery offers many rooms, a baby room (0 -1 yr), a tiny tots room (1-2 yrs), a toddler room (2 – 3yrs), and our preschool room (3 – 5yrs). The additional rooms are used for dining, sleeping, craft, story, and sensory times. This provides the children with stability and familiarity of the nursery as they journey and progress through the rooms with their friends. We are open 49 weeks per year from 7.30 am until 6 pm Monday to Friday. We offer full-day or half-day sessions and will always do our best to accommodate various hours allowing Government-funded parents to fulfill their entitlements. We accept all Government Funding, childcare vouchers, tax-free childcare, and we welcome children and their families from all backgrounds, ethnic minorities, those with special educational needs or disabilities, as well as children who speak English as an additional language or do not speak English at all. We work closely in partnership with local support agencies and North Somerset in order to meet each child’s individual needs. We promote equality and diversity in our setting by promoting British Values to protect our children from discrimination, and involve the children in celebrating all kinds of festivals and traditions throughout the year.
We inspire the children to respect other’s views, encourage them to share and take turns, thus providing a sense of right and wrong and ensuring a safe and friendly environment.
