Job Description: Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their early development and learning. The Nursery Practitioner will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality care and education in accordance with early childhood education standards.

Duties

• Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in your care
• Supervise and support children during play, learning, and mealtime routines
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
• Lead by example in promoting good behaviour, manners, and social skills
• Assist with organising nursery events and outings, ensuring all safety procedures are followed
• Contribute to the organisation of the nursery environment to promote learning through play
• Support new staff members through mentoring and guidance as part of your leadership responsibilities
