Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Nursery Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a vibrant early childhood education setting. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. Your leadership will ensure high standards of childcare and education are maintained, fostering positive relationships with children, families, and staff alike. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in nursery management and a genuine love for working with young children to make a meaningful impact in their community.
 
Duties
Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to all regulatory standards
  • Supervise, support, and motivate a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality early childhood education
  • Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that promote learning, development, and well-being for children of various ages
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their children's progress and nursery activities
  • Oversee health and safety procedures, ensuring a clean, secure, and welcoming environment at all times
  • Manage administrative tasks including staff scheduling, record keeping, and compliance documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the nursery’s educational offerings and operational efficiency
Skills
  • Proven management experience in a nursery or early childhood education setting
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team
  • Extensive experience working directly with children in childcare or nursery environments
  • Deep understanding of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
  • Excellent communication skills in English to effectively liaise with staff, parents, and external agencies
  • Ability to handle administrative responsibilities accurately and efficiently
