Nursery Practitioner

At our Wincanton Nursery and Pre-School we celebrate the fact that all children are unique and have a diverse set of needs, preferences, and learning styles. All the staff are dedicated to providing an environment that treat children as individuals.

Requirements: 

• Level 3 (prefered) 
• Full-time 37.5 (Monday - Friday) 
• Part-time Considered 
• Flexible between the hours of 7:45am - 6:00pm (earlies & lates shift patterns)
• Happy working in a large setting (placement of 82 children) 
• Flexibile working in different rooms 

Responsibilities: 

• Quality and consistency in all early years settings, so that every child makes good progress and no child gets left behind.
• A secure foundation through learning and development opportunities which are planned around the needs and interests of each individual child and are assessed and reviewed regularly
• Partnership working between practitioners and with parents and/or carers
• Equality of opportunity and anti-discriminatory practice, ensuring that every child is included and supported
