Care Supervisor

Bluebird Care (Chorley, Ormskirk & Leyland) registered as a domiciliary care provider in 2021 by Colin, who established Bluebird Care in memory of his late mother who experienced poor care before she sadly passed away.

All of our customers are private paying clients and expect high standards which is our priority – we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality of care to the customers we support.

We cover the Ormskirk, Tarleton and Burscough areas and therefore you must drive, with use of a vehicle at work, for covering these areas.

We’re currently recruiting for a Care Supervisor to join our friendly team.

You will be responsible for:

-          Completing staff competency checks on visits to ensure our standards are upheld and our team provide the highest standard of care

-          Complete staff supervisions

-          Undertake care visits to our clients in the community, supporting our clients to live as independently as they can in their own homes, administering medication and utilising our electronic care records system for accurate and timely documentation

-          Supporting the team with rota management to ensure care visits are appropriately covered

-          Participating in an on-call rota

In return, you will be offered:

-          A competitive annual salary of £28,000 - £32,000 dependent upon experience

We are looking for:

-          Strong experience within a caring role, ideally within a Senior/Supervisor capacity

-          Ability to work as part of a team and participate in an on-call rota

-          A positive approach and a priority for exceptional standards of care

-          Due to the nature of this role, flexibility is essential to ensure the smooth running of the organisation and coverage of care calls, therefore evenings and weekends will be required
