Job Purpose: To work with the staff team to ensure a smooth running of the Nursery at all times, and to uphold and maintain a high standard of care and education to all children.
Vacancy:
- Job type: Full time, permanent
- Salary: To be discussed, dependent on experience
- Hours: 37 hours (can be discussed, may vary depending on the ratios each day)
- Shift patterns: between 7:45am - 6:00pm 51 weeks of the year (closed for 1 week at Christmas)
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to day-to-day duties to ensure smooth running and efficiency at the setting.
- To work as an effective part of the team ensuring all standards are maintained, leading to a good reputation both inside and outside the Nursery.
- Contribute effectively to the team, maintaining a high level of communication which benefits both children and staff.
- Have knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the role of Ofsted.
- Work with all staff in such a way as to provide the high-quality care, education, attention, stimulation and support as outlined in EYFS.
- Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments.
- Completing planning to support children's development and next steps.
