Vacancies Available:
- 1 x Part-Time Chef/Cook – 20 hours per week (2 shifts per week)
- 1 x Full-Time Chef/Cook – 30 hours per week (3 shifts per week)
About the Role
We are looking for passionate and reliable Chef/Cooks to join a welcoming residential care home in Dawlish. You will be working in a fully refurbished, modern kitchen, preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals for elderly residents in a warm and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking fresh, balanced meals daily
- Catering for individual dietary and nutritional needs
- Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Supporting menu planning and food variety
- Managing stock rotation and basic ordering
- Working collaboratively with care and support staff
- Promoting a positive dining experience for residents
About You
- Previous experience as a Cook or Chef (care home experience desirable but not essential)
- Understanding of dietary requirements in elderly care (or willingness to learn)
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
- Strong awareness of food hygiene standards (Level 2 Food Safety preferred)
- Friendly, caring approach with a passion for good food
