Footprints Montessori Day Nursery is an independent, Ofsted-outstanding, and Montessori-accredited Nursery that will celebrate its twenty-first-year anniversary in 2026. Some of our staff will have been with us for the full twenty -one years and have no plans to move on. It is owner-led with the help of a manager who has been with us for twenty-one years and an administration manager. As soon as you walk through the door, you will be enveloped by a warm welcome into our family atmosphere.
Nursery Practitioner
As we follow the Montessori philosophy, we understand the importance of following the children’s interests and providing a prepared environment to enable them to explore and progress in their own time. We strive to support the children’s independence and compulsion for order, which are two of the priorities of the Montessori philosophy. We provide a fun, caring, and educational indoor and outdoor environment to promote confidence and curiosity and children show fascination while exploring and engaging in our environment. We have access to woods, where we provide outdoor activities and experiences with our trained Forest School Leader.
