Nursery Manager
Location: Ellesmere Port Campus
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 4 days per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am–6:00pm
Holiday: 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays

The Early Learning Academy is looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our Ellesmere Port Campus nursery. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident early years leader who is committed to delivering exceptional childcare, inspiring a dedicated team, and creating a nurturing environment where every child can flourish.
As Nursery Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring outstanding standards of care, education, safeguarding, and compliance. Working closely with the Proprietor, you will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the setting.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and managing the daily operations of the nursery
- Inspiring, mentoring, and developing a team of early years professionals
- Ensuring high-quality teaching, learning, observations, and assessments in line with the EYFS framework
- Maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory compliance
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children
- Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Driving continuous improvement and supporting the nursery’s long-term development
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager in an Ofsted-registered setting
- Excellent knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and nursery compliance
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Good IT and administrative skills
- A genuine passion for early years education and child development
Desirable
- Level 4 or Level 5 qualification in Early Years
- Additional professional or higher education qualifications

Our on site chef caters to all dietary requirements and needs, providing healthy hot meals and snacks. All of our staff are qualified and Paediatric First Aid trained.
