We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent organisational skills and a genuine passion for food. Ideally the candidate will have experience in working within a nursery environment and will have knowledge of all current legislation regarding health and hygiene when working with food and the paper work requirements attached to commercial kitchen work including the booklet 'Safer food better business'. A good knowledge of food allergies and intolerance is essential.
Requirements;
- Part time
- 16-36 hours per week
- January start
- Previous experience in Childcare desirable
- Previous catering/cooking experience REQUIRED
The successful candidate will be responsible for the general running of the kitchen, this will include but is not exhaustive of:
- Planning
- Stock rotation
- Food preparation
- Cooking
- Serving
- Pot washing
- General cleanliness of the kitchen area
- Keeping documents and logs up to date
Standard hours will be set but we may on occasion require a certain amount of flexibility.

We have an extensive range of resources for both indoor and outdoor use. Our outdoor play area is situated on soft rubber ground to allow the children to play safely and protect them as they grow in confidence and develop their physical skills further.
