We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare and early childhood education within a nurturing environment. The Nursery Practitioner will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that promotes learning and well-being for all children in our care.
Nursery Practitioner
Requirements:
- Level 3 in Childcare
- Happy to work 40 hours
- 3 or 4 long days (all year round)
- Full UK Driving License (prefered)
- Previous experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood education setting is essential
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and independence
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and organised activities to ensure their safety at all times
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones
- Ensure the nursery complies with all health and safety regulations, including safeguarding policies
- Support the organisation of daily routines and special events within the nursery setting
- Assist in managing nursery resources and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
- Lead by example in demonstrating excellent childcare practices and professionalism
