Kattz Kidz is an independent day nursery that opened in early 2016, dedicated to providing exceptional care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. With a focus on fostering each child's learning potential, we aim to become a vital part of the local community.

As an Early Years Educator at Kattz Kidz, you will play a key role in nurturing and developing young minds in a safe and stimulating environment. Your passion for early childhood education will help us deliver outstanding care while encouraging children to reach their full potential.

• Hours: 30 - 40 hours
• Qualification: Early Years Childhood L2/L3 Qualification (required)
• Childcare experience: 1 year (required)

• Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
• Pay: £13.22-£13.76 per hour
• Hours: 20 hours
• Shift patterns: 10am - 2pm

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children.
• Provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive emotionally and socially.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and needs.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive nursery atmosphere.
• Support children in their daily routines, including meals, playtime, and rest periods.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience working with young children in a nursery or educational setting.
• Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative.
• A genuine passion for nurturing children's development and well-being.
