We have worked very hard to provide the highest quality nursery facilities, which will be appreciated by discerning parents when choosing a nursery for their child. As with all other nurseries we are OFSTED approved but at Shibden Head we regard this as a starting point not a goal, our policy of continual improvement in partnership with our parents and staff will ensure that our quality of service is the best available.
All our children's areas are secure, self-contained and have facilities for your child's needs. Our fabulous outdoor play area and garden give the children a chance to explore and become aware of their own environment.
Unobtrusive CCTV monitoring of entrances, indoor and outdoor areas is provided to safeguard the children and our staff and help ensure the security of the site. The latest fire and smoke detection equipment is installed throughout the nursery.
Whilst in our care children are able to participate in our fun packed daily routine with a wide variety of play and learning experiences, ensuring your child has the opportunity to develop skills to their full potential.
Our customers benefit from our Early Childhood Platform, Famly which bridges the collaboration gap between families and the Nursery team. It provides a messaging platform, management of your account and invoices, handle admin together, view your child's journey, and learn new things - so they can focus on the early interactions that count..
On the lower ground floor we have our kitchen and pre-school room equipped with disabled toilet facilities. The ground floor is home to our toddler room and the first floor houses our baby room and nursery office.
Three meals a day are provided with snacks in between. All the food is prepared and cooked in our nursery kitchen by our experienced cook. Menus have been designed to provide a healthy, nutritious balanced diet and special dietary requirements are catered for.
